CAMPGROUND & RIVER BASE MANAGERS

Candidates for these positions must possess excellent customer relations skills.  Management experience and references are required.  Responsibilities would include: hiring and scheduling of staff, supervision of daily operations, overseeing daily cash reports and deposits, procurement of supplies and retail merchandise and resolving any customer disputes.

This is a customer-oriented business providing services to numerous customers on any given day.  Applicants for these positions must be capable of dealing with multiple tasks on an “as required” basis.  Good communication skills and a strong command of the English language are required. On-site housing available and negotiable.

RIVER AND CAMPGROUND STAFF

Van Drivers – must be 21 or over with clean, valid driving license.

Bus Drivers - must be 21 or over with clean, valid CDL license.

Reservation/Store Clerks – must possess good customer relation skills, computer and/or retail experience preferred, but not required.

Canoe Handlers – responsible people needed to launch and pick up river trip customers, and load/unload boats.

Maintenance & Housekeeping Staff – responsible people needed for grounds maintenance, vehicle maintenance and light mechanical tasks.  Housekeepers need to clean company-owned stores and bath houses.

Paintball Staff - mature people needed to referee paintball games, oversee some retail sales on location at the fields, and paintball equipment maintenance.

Kittatinny Canoes offers a variety of location for river trips, 2 campgrounds and the largest Paintball operations in northeastern Pennsylvania and southeastern New York State.  Candidates for employment must possess a reliable mode of transportation to and from work and be willing to work weekends and summer holidays.  River trips are available to all staff members free of charge.  This is an excellent opportunity for college students and teachers to earn money and enjoy the outdoors for the summer.
